Mediation / Conflict Resolution

Conflict in any area of life is generally a good thing. Without conflict there would be no debate, discussion, variety of opinions, progress or change.

Why then is conflict seen in such negative terms? It is rarely seen as positive, healthy or natural. This is particularly so in the workplace. If recognised in the early stages, conflict can be aired, discussed and dealt with.

It need not escalate to unmanageable proportions. If left unresolved the cost of conflict can be high in terms of staff morale, together with financial, legal and recruitment costs.
