DCS has a highly professional, multi-skilled team drawn from relevant professions and industry, offering a wide range of therapeutic services. We are experienced in a variety of counselling techniques:

All our counsellors are committed to career learning, with a Diploma in Counselling as a minimum qualification. All staff are members of British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and have full professional insurance for on or off-site treatment.
The team also has complementary specialist skills, including general nursing, mental health nursing, youth and community work, detoxification and rehabilitation nursing.
Accreditations
The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) is a professional accreditation body providing guidelines, guidance, codes of ethics, training, support and information to organisations and individuals.
DCS accredited counsellors are members of the UK Register of Counsellors (UKRC).
Operating as part of NAADAC, the Federation of Drug and Alcohol Professionals (FDAP) is the first professional body for people working in the field of drugs and alcohol. DCS currently has 2 accredited FDAP counsellors who specialise in addictions counselling (drugs / alcohol / gambling / sex).
At present, DCS has 1 counsellor who is accredited by the Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC).
DCS is also registered with the Counselling Directory.
